- Resolve local effects of flow and heat transfer on mass transfer and chemical reactions not fully answered by process simulation
- Apply flow-coupled DEM (Discrete Element Model) technology to a tablet coating model in the API process
- Apply CFD for single and multiphase problems, adding valuable scientific insight and decision-making criteria to technical solutions.

Meet The Speakers
Speaking at Rochelle Park, NJ & Boston, MA (via Webex)
Dr. Santhosh Ramalingam: A Senior Engineer in the Fluid Mechanics & Mixing group of the Corporate R&D in Dow Chemicals at Freeport in TX. His expertise includes CFD modeling and high speed imaging of complex flow systems in chemical and agricultural industries. Dr. Santhosh holds a PhD from Purdue University from his work on coupled interfacial systems.

Dr. Ning Chai: Dr. Chai is currently a process research specialist in the Engineering & Process Science Dept. of Corporate R&D at the Dow Chemical Company. He specialized in fluid mechanics, combustion, heat transfer, and mixing study. His interested include innovative research and designs for solving real-life problems in chemical, energy, and mechanical industries.
