This event teaches attendees about the benefits of CFD methods for the design of biomedical devices. Experts also cover how regulatory requirements are evolving to increase the use of modeling and simulation.
For this webcast, we show how CFD is successfully applied to increase the reliability of these devices. Various example cases like blood pumps, inhalers, heart valves and stents are discussed with focus on work flow integration and multiphysics (FSI coupling with Abaqus by SIMULIA). An FSI test case for a blood vessel geometry is demonstrated.
