Oil and Gas FSI Simulation Images

Thank you for your interest in our workshop!

Engineers face many challenges that can often be addressed with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) technology. CFD is outstanding for the simulation of flow, thermal and stress related phenomena in many fields including subsea design, flow assurance, process and separation, technical safety, and marine operations.

During this event, specialists will discuss applications and innovations, as well as project experience relating to CFD simulation in the offshore oil and gas and marine fields.

This session will be valuable for anyone working or interested in the following areas:

  • Subsea systems and pipeline engineering
  • Offshore engineering challenges
  • Processing oil sands
  • Flow assurance
  • Marine operations, installation and construction
  • Process engineering and separation
  • Technical safety
  • Well containment

This seminar will provide a background on the benefits of engineering simulation as a way to gain a deeper understanding on how fluid dynamics and thermal behavior can impact exploration, production and processing. Additionally, experts will cover the use of simulation to understand operating problems and how to modify existing equipment in order to cope with new operating flow rates.
