Engineers face many challenges that can often be addressed with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) technology. CFD is outstanding for the simulation of flow, thermal and stress related phenomena in many fields including subsea design, flow assurance, process and separation, technical safety, and marine operations.
During this event, specialists will discuss applications and innovations, as well as project experience relating to CFD simulation in the offshore oil and gas and marine fields.

Alessio Pistidda obtained his MSc in Mechanical Engineering and his PhD in Fluid Dynamics at the Univ. of Cagliari (Italy). After his studies he started working as consultant in the oil and gas field with main focus on subsea installation.
