The marine industry is currently embarking on an unprecedented revolution of its design tools and methods which is driven by game-changing technology and stringent regulation designed to tackle climate change.
The Solution: Fast and widespread adoption of simulation technologies such as computational fluid dynamics (CFD), finite element analysis (FEA), and multidisciplinary design exploration (MDX). This enables naval architects to innovate, introduce novel and efficient technologies, reduce development cycles, and produce targeted design variants for specific market segments.
Please join Siemens PLM Software, formerly CD-adapco, by attending a complimentary workshop on state-of-art CFD simulation and multidisciplinary design exploration for marine applications. In this educational event, we will demonstrate how automated and robust CFD is increasingly used as a cost-effective alternative to physical testing. Learn how simulation will help to evaluate and improve designs in order to reduce the vessel’s energy requirements and its environmental footprint. We will also show how these automated methods can easily be used to drive design exploration and optimization.
Who Should Attend?
Naval architects, marine engineers, design consultants, program and project managers, and engineering leadership. Whether you currently run simulations or not, you will see approaches and results relevant to your day-to-day work. This workshop will explore how you can meet your design requirements by leveraging the most advanced simulation tools available today.
There is no cost for this workshop, but registration is necessary as seats are limited. Please remember to choose your location when completing the provided form.
